Senior Cloud Operations Solution Developer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Solution Developer to join our Continuous Operations Release Environment (CORE) team in an Agile Scrum setting. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of an enterprise Operations Dashboard powered by Grafana, delivering comprehensive monitoring and metrics solutions for cloud-based DevSecOps pipelines. You will bridge software development, cloud infrastructure, and security to build resilient, accredited, and insight-driven tools for mission-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard & Metrics Development: Design, build, and optimize Grafana dashboards to monitor cloud-based DevSecOps pipeline applications, leveraging Go and REST APIs for custom metrics collection.
- Agile Software Delivery: Collaborate in a Scrum environment to plan, develop, test, and release robust operational solutions that meet strategic project milestones.
- Cloud & Pipeline Integration: Integrate AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3) and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI) to refine system insights and automate data workflows.
- Security & Accreditation: Partner closely with internal and external security teams to ensure all monitoring tools strictly comply with DoD accreditation and compliance standards.
- Data & Infrastructure Management: Query and manage data sources across Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL databases within RedHat Linux and containerized environments.

Technical Documentation: Author and maintain precise architecture diagrams, API integrations, and technical runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance & Citizenship: Top Secret Clearance & US Citizenship required.
- Compliance Certification: Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, SSCP, CCNA-Security, GSEC, CND, or GICSP).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.

Core Technical Expertise:
- Visualization & Language: Advanced Grafana dashboard creation and Go programming proficiency.
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS core services (Lambda, EC2, S3) and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- OS & Scripting: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Shell scripting.

Data & Search: API integrations, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Python scripting capabilities for automation.
- Hands-on experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, or Red Hat OpenShift).
- Experience operating within federal or DoD DevSecOps pipeline environments.
Compensation: $145,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
